I believe it's completely possible in the near future, and in fact I think it's even likely that in an agent driven world, that most services we need to interact with will be accessed by agents... Nice UIs will still be needed, but the value of good tools for agents to use will become higher value... That's what my crystal ball says :) The good news is that for existing software that is well built, the adaptation should be relatively easy.
